Dried flowers remain popular in all shapes and colours. In addition to the traditional colour combinations, we see more and more special combinations in the shops and on Social Media. Mixing colours is becoming increasingly popular and the mix of dried with fresh flowers is also taking off.

In our previous blog we highlighted the clashing colours trend, as the counterpart of this trend you see the complete opposite: soft, natural colours. This countercurrent consists of natural and white bleached dried flowers, sometimes in combination with fresh flowers. These natural bouquets are timeless classics thanks to their muted colours. And here too we see many different flowers combined with each other. Popular materials for these bouquets and arrangements include our bleached range, natural grasses and pampas. With this type of bouquet, you see that in addition to mixed bouquets, there is also grouping in the basic materials: the neutral materials are grouped, and sometimes there is also grouping in colour. Colour accents are mixed in the bouquets. As a colour accent you see a lot of red, rust brown and old pink: warm, earthy colours.

In the arrangement below you see many different types of dried flowers placed next to each other. By filling the vase completely, it seems as if the flowers have been casually gathered together. Pampas and lagurus in particular lend themselves very well to this trend.
The bouquet and corsages are an example of what you see a lot at today's trendy weddings. Various bleached materials have been used in this bouquet, this highlights the warm earthy colours of the protea. You can make a bouquet like this by carefully arranging your flowers in different hights: this way you create depth in your bouquet. With dried bouquets you work from the inside out: sticking a twig in the middle afterwards is difficult, because of the fragile nature of dried flowers. The casual look of the matching corsages suits this type of wedding very well: they are made from scraps of material that were also used in the bridal bouquet.
