Volume discounts and delivery costs
The discount applies per order, to the total order value (excluding VAT), and depends on the delivery country. For example, for most other European countries, including Ireland, Sweden, Spain and Italy:

Orders under € 20 carry a € 5 administration fee. Glass, ceramics, lianas, 2-metre branches and other large items are shipped by pallet: free from € 750, below that we charge pallet costs.

Dried flower wholesaler with its own drying facility
In summer, all flowers are cut, dried and packed, so that we have stock all year round. We buy the flowers and other crops directly from local growers. Thanks to our many years of experience, we select the finest products together with them.
We know exactly at which point in its flowering a flower is best suited for drying. To preserve the natural look as much as possible, the flowers go into the drying room within a few hours of being cut. They are bundled and hung upside down to prevent breakage, and carefully dried for 24 hours.

Ordering as a business
Can I order as a private individual?
No. Decofleur only supplies businesses. A company name is required when you register, and all our prices exclude VAT.
How does the volume discount work?
The discount applies per order and depends on the order value and the delivery country. For example, deliveries to Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg get 10% from € 400, 20% from € 800 and 30% from € 1,250. The discount is applied automatically and is visible once you are logged in.
What are the delivery costs?
That depends on the country. To Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg you pay € 9.50 for orders up to € 150 and delivery is free from € 150. To most other European countries you pay € 32.50 up to € 400 and delivery is free from € 400. Large items such as glass, ceramics and long branches are shipped by pallet; that is free from € 750.
Can I order without VAT?
Yes. Businesses in an EU country outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT number pay no VAT. For technical reasons, the basket still shows VAT. We check the VAT number afterwards; if it is not valid, we charge VAT after all. Businesses outside the EU automatically pay no VAT.
Do I have to buy full boxes?
No. Most products can be ordered per bunch or bag. The second price line is the lower price per bunch when you take a full bulk pack.
Is there a minimum order value?
No, there is no minimum order value. Orders under € 20 do carry a € 5 administration fee. For the United Kingdom the minimum order is € 1,250.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
We deliver from stock. If you order before 1 pm, we ship your order the same day. If you pay by bank transfer, we ship as soon as the payment has arrived. Delivery takes approximately 3 to 4 working days to Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, France and Slovakia, and 4 to 5 working days to most other European countries.
Can I buy on account?
No, all orders are paid in advance, for example by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Choose collection when you check out. You will receive an email as soon as your order is ready in Noordwijkerhout. Collection is possible Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00 and Friday from 8:00 to 14:00.

Dried flowers and care
How can I keep dried flowers looking beautiful for longer?
Dried flowers stay beautiful by keeping them out of direct sunlight and moisture. Use hairspray or special dried flower spray to make the petals firmer and prevent shedding, and regularly remove dust with a soft brush or a cold hairdryer. Occasionally rotate the bouquet so all sides get equal light.
Which flowers are easiest to dry?
Flowers with sturdy stems and petals dry best. Recommended varieties include eucalyptus, statice, lagurus, pampas grass, hydrangeas, and roses (the latter fade faster and are ideal as accents). Hang flowers upside down in a dark, well-ventilated space to preserve shape and color.
Can dried flowers be placed in a humid room?
Dried flowers are not suitable for humid spaces such as bathrooms or poorly ventilated basements. Moisture can make them droop, lose shape, or even develop mold. Colors also fade faster when humidity and temperature fluctuations combine. If you want to place dried flowers in a slightly more humid room, ensure good ventilation. Keep them away from showers, windows, or heaters. Choose sturdier varieties like pampas grass or eucalyptus. You can also use a moisture absorber in the room. For the longest lifespan, dried flowers do best in a dry living room or bedroom with a stable temperature.
How long do dried flowers stay beautiful?
Dried flowers remain attractive for an average of 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type and care. Protect them from sunlight, moisture, and dust to extend their lifespan. Some varieties, like statice and lagurus, retain their color longer than roses.
Do dried flowers need water?
No, dried flowers do not need water. Water can actually damage them and cause mold. Always place them in a dry vase without water.
