Frequently asked questions about green dried flowers
Which green dried flowers does Decofleur supply?
The range covers dyed grasses and grains such as phalaris, setaria, lagurus, avena, barley and triticum in green and emerald green, plus achillea parker, broom bloom, bunch of babala, nigella, palm spears, dried hydrangea and ready-made green bouquets in 40cm and 55cm.
What is the difference between green and emerald green?
Both are dyed shades. Green is the standard tone, emerald green is deeper and more saturated. Phalaris, setaria, triticum and broom bloom are available in both, so you can combine them for more depth within one colour family.
Are green dried flowers natural or dyed?
Most of them are dyed: the grasses are dried in our own drying cells and then coloured at our location. Items such as nigella, panicum and natural setaria are undyed and simply dried.
How are green dried grasses sold?
Per bunch, in a small packaging of 5 bunches. A full mastercarton (15 to 25 bunches depending on the product) brings the price per bunch down. Palm spears come per 10, bouquets and DIY packages per piece.
How long do green dried flowers keep their colour?
On average 6 months to 2 years, depending on the variety and how they are kept. Place them out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and never put them in water.
