How are the plume grasses sold?
Per stem. Pampas grass comes in a small packaging of 5 stems (mastercarton 100), arundo plumero per 10 (mastercarton 300) and miscanthus per 25 (mastercarton 500). The mastercarton price per stem is lower.
What is the difference between pampas, arundo plumero and miscanthus?
Pampas grass and arundo plumero are both 110cm; pampas is the fullest and most expensive plume, arundo plumero a slimmer alternative at a lower price per stem. Miscanthus is shorter at 90cm with a finer plume.
What are grey plume grasses used for?
Large vase arrangements, shop and window displays, wedding decoration and as height in dried bouquets. They pair well with bleached and natural material.
How should plume grasses be stored and cared for?
Keep them dry and out of direct sunlight, and never place them in water. Stored this way dried grasses stay attractive for 6 months to 2 years.
