Frequently asked questions about white dried flowers
Which white dried flowers are available?
Bleached grasses and flowers such as phalaris, lagurus, setaria, triticum, amaranthus, broom bloom, craspedia, nigella orientalis, mini papaver and fennel, plus white acroclinium, rhodante, gypsophila, limonium, statice sinuata, statice tatarica, helichrysum immortelle and cotton.
What is the difference between bleached and natural white dried flowers?
Bleached items are grasses and flowers whose colour has been removed, giving a cream-white tone; the shape stays the same. Natural white varieties such as gypsophila, statice and rhodante dry in their own white colour.
Are white dried flowers suitable for a wedding bouquet?
Yes, they are a popular base for dried wedding bouquets. Ready-made options include Dried Flower Bouquet White 40cm, White 60cm, Natural/White 40cm, White/Green 40cm, White Pink 55cm and Pampas White Pink 80cm, or use the DIY Bleached Mix.
Which gypsophila do you stock?
Dried Babys Breath 70cm, a natural bunch of 25 branches, and bleached Gypsophila 35cm. Both are sold per bunch, with a lower price per bunch when you take a mastercarton.
How do I keep white dried flowers looking white?
Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and never put them in water. Treated this way dried flowers last on average 6 months to 2 years.
